Research Associate Job Call

Qualitative Research Associate: Position Available

The Institute for Mixed Methods Research (IMMR) is accepting applications for a part time research associate to assist with the management, delivery, and administration of IMMR qualitative research courses and activities. This is a part-time position with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time position. Core responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and deliver qualitative methods-based webinars incorporating digital tools
  • Conduct data analysis consultations and trainings
  • Manage online asynchronous short courses and learning management systems  
  • Assist in teaching online synchronous courses (3-4 short courses/workshops per year)  
  • Collaborate with IMMR leadership on research partnerships and grants
  • Assist with managing invoices, support questions, and other requests

Required qualifications:

  • Experience with and passion for qualitative research
  • Experience using digital tools such as Dedoose for data analysis  
  • Masters in educational research or related field  
  • Fluent in English
  • Able to work in US-based time zone  

Preferred qualifications:

  • Fluent in Spanish
  • PhD in educational research or related field
  • Publications related to qualitative methods and/or qualitative research
